ARRANMORE DISASTER 75 years this November

A commemorative dance with friends from the Donegal Association to remember the Arranmore Disaster which took place 75 years ago this November will be held in John Neily's at 9pm on Saturday the 4th September. The Donegal Association was founded in response to the Disaster and is marking their 75th year since their foundation. Tickets are priced €12, available locally. All welcome!

The Arranmore Ferry Service has been operating for over 23 years. The company has become the leading Ferry service in the North West. Bád Farantóireachta Árainn Mhór prides itself on providing a professional, high quality service with strict attention to safety.

In the summer months we have two boats running on a hourly basis. MV Rhum and the MV Coll.

All staff are highly qualified and the Ferry company complies with all Irish Marine Insurance and Legal requirements. Our staff are fully trained in First Aid and Defibrillator, which is carried on board.

The ferry can cater for all sizes of vehicles and for up to 96 foot passengers. The crossing takes just 15 minutes where one can enjoy the most spectacular scenery found anywhere in Donegal.

We accept Irish OAP cards. We also accept Northern Ireland Smart cards. (Smart Card holders will be charged a reduced rate)

Our staff are always on hand to assist in ensuring that your crossing is both comfortable and enjoyable.

Tickets can be purchased at the booking office in Burtonport and on Arranmore or on board the vessel. During the summer months its always best to book your vehicle prior to departure.

We can accommodate all sizes of groups at a competitive rate and can also arrange accommodation for the duration of your stay on the Island.

We can also arrange fishing trips and diving trips for groups.
