How to get here
The ferry leaves from Burtonport Pier and tickets can be bought on board the boat or at the booking office on the pier during the summer months.Burtonport is a picturesque harbour town and Donegal's second most important fishing port after Killybegs. The quality seafoods, including salmon and lobster, can be enjoyed in the many restaurants in Burtonport and Arranmore.
Burtonport is five miles from Dungloe, the largest town in the Rosses, in West Donegal. Dungloe is on the main N56, North West Coastal Route. Get here by plane to Donegal airport, Carrickfinn www.donegalairport.ie or by road on the N4 from Dublin via Sligo or from the north of Ireland via Derry, Letterkenny or Strabane, Lifford.
